The Dairing Bride Academy 2016 was one for the record books. Not only was it the best to date, we also had more attendees than ever before. My goal each year is to have 25 attendees. Well, this year we had 32!
One thing that we added to the weekend last year and I implemented again this year, was a mixer the night before The Academy. It is an opportunity for all the girls to get together, meet each other, chat with the educators, look at pretty dresses, and of course, drink champagne.
The White Magnolia Bridal Salon hosted us this year and it was just wonderful! Thank you to Mabry and Kerrie for welcoming us with open arms and helping us make it a memorable weekend.
We deemed this goodie bags our “Spa Bag” and it was the takeaway from night one. The idea behind it was to give the attendees something to encourage relaxation before the big day of the Academy.
A huge thank you to our swag sponsors:
BossyCow Designs – Eye Masks
MacDaddy Soaps – Bath Bombs
Onli Beverages
Turnip Creations – Hair Ties
AlleyCakes – Champagne Cake Pop
We could not have asked for a more decadent display than what
PJ’s Catering brought for us to enjoy! I am such a cheese lover and they brought a beautiful tray of cheeses, meats, and fruit for us to nibble on while we sipped champagne!
Lauren with
Ten23 Designs and I came up with this cute little faux-cocktail menu for the Champagne Bar! The Celebration Society was one of our key sponsors, adding one of their gorgeous magazines to the swag bags! They are such an important part of what I do daily with creating a design direction for my clients because they really inspire me!
