There has been A LOT going on over here at Dairing Events HQ! We are in full wedding mode, prepping to ensure that the {Big Day} for our 2014 Brides, are exactly what they have always envisioned! In the meantime, I have been working on a personal passion project. May I introduce you to, The Dairing Bride Academy!
The idea first came to me last year after I attended the ISSE Experience in Savannah, Ga. It inspired me because it brought together wedding industry professionals {even some in the wedding planning arena} and gave them the platform to learn together. It was so positive and enlightening that I thought ~ Why not bring that back to Jacksonville and implement it with my own brides! 
Hence, “The Dairing Mixer” was born. 
I wanted to create an opportunity that not only gave all of the Dairing Brides a new experience, but also broadened their friendship circle with their fellow Brides! Our very first event was such a success! I invited all of my Brides & Wives and even extended the invitation to bring one of their friends along. We ended up having over 50 girls in attendance with the help of some amazing participating vendors! 
{Smiley Face Photo Booth, Catered Cocktails, Perfect Pear, Ten23 Designs, Heather O’Brien Design, Flippin’ Good Cookies, and AlleyCakes Dessert Company} 
We have since had a Wine Mixer, a “Dairing Bach Bash”, and the latest was hosted by Pure Barre – Tapestry Park! 

Then I got to thinking…why stop at just my brides? Every Bride should be a part of something special with other girls who are going through the same things they are; sleepless nights over seating charts, picking the perfect vendors, and even the overbearing family member. 
The Dairing Bride Academy will give ALL Brides in Northeast Florida a chance to have the “Dairing Experience”! It is about building a strong & positive bridal community while also educating brides on how best to plan their wedding. It is going to be a full-day experience, led by leading wedding professionals in Jacksonville. Giving Brides the opportunity for one-on-one interactions and in a non-bridal show design. There will be no vendors behind a table, rather right in front and ready to answer all of the “Hot Topic” questions and maybe even sharing a few tricks and tips along the way!
I really cannot wait to share with you the line-up of Key-Note speakers that will be participating in this Workshop! It is certainly going to be the event not to miss this year for any bride planning her wedding {no matter what stage of the planning process she is in!!}
