Top Wedding Trends Forecast for 2013 {Part 1}
Let’s first talk about what is out: Rustic is certainly not a running theme anymore. Brides will be moving on from the mason jars and burlap and opting for a more elegant affair. So – what is hot for 2013? I have 10 of the top trends ready for you! Today I will be talking about the first 5 and next week – stay near the computer – for the next installment! Don’t forget to comment and tell me what you think is best and what you will be using for your wedding day!
1. Sherbet & Pastels Colors: The softer the better, from Lilac and Blush, to Mint and Robin’s Egg. You cannot go wrong with incorporating just one or more of these precious colors in your wedding palette.
2. Love Birds Theme: I love the idea of theming your wedding around love and what better way to do that than with “Love Birds”. Cheesy – yes, Unforgettable – you better believe it. There are so many ways you can take this theme, mildly rusting with nests and moss, to modern with a twist. It is all up to you!

3. Morning Weddings – I personally love an early wedding. There is something so “new” about it. Starting a NEW life, on a NEW morning…it is fresh, the sunlight is beautiful…and let’s be real – who DOESN’T LOVE BREAKFAST!!
4. Eco-Friendly and Green Weddings: Brides are becoming much more conscious of how “green” their wedding actually is. By incorporating recycled elementsand touches of natural elements, every Eco-Friendly Bride will have the exact day they were hoping for.

I used a ton of natural elements as you can see and gave a different perspective to the wedding favor and guest book. A potting station to “Watch the Love Grow” and River Rocks! The beautiful venue is a local Jacksonville Beach spot called In the Garden and have space for both your ceremony and reception!
5. Colored Bridal Gowns and Reception Dresses: In 2013 you will see a rise of the colorful wedding gown and reception dresses and the bridesmaids will actually be wearing more ivories, tans, and white tones. I don’t know how I feel about a black wedding dress – but I bet you any woman daring enough to do it is one confident bride!
