You haven’t heard from me in a while because I’ve been busy pursuing my first love- being a scientist. Even though I’ve taken a break as Associate Coordinator at Dairing Events, I continue to learn about the science of love from our wonderful couples. Ginny & Thomas are the epitome of perfection, and I am so thankful to have had them as my final Dairing Couple. Thank you for allowing me to tell you their story.
Lots of Love!

A Love to Cross Oceans For…Ginny & Thomas from Visual Power Cinema on Vimeo.
Adair and I first met Ginny via Skype. We knew this wedding was going to be a challenge to plan seeing that Ginny & Thomas were an ocean away in Germany. At that first Skype meeting, Ginny told us the theme she imagined for her wedding, “A Love to Cross Oceans For” which seemed perfect for the couple since Ginny, a West Virginian native, had moved across the world to be with Thomas.
As the months went by, Adair and I worked hard to bring Ginny’s vision to life. We searched all over Jacksonville and found a variety of vintage pieces that reflected a travel theme and an air of love. With a little creativity and help from our vendors, we crafted what just might be our most unique Dairing Wedding yet!
Vintage suitcases were used to create levels and depth as part of a grand centerpiece on the escort card table. Guests used luggage tag escort cards to find their seats in the ballroom.
Ginny & Thomas’ guests traveled from all over the world to attend their wedding in Jacksonville. In lieu of a traditional guest book, guests wrote their greetings on a globe which doubled as a keepsake for the bride and groom.
Yummy key lime cake pops added a local touch to the sweets table.
The dinner tables were named after the cities Ginny and Thomas had visited together. Always thinking of the details, Adair painstakingly found every city and cut out their exact location on the map.
A custom-made cake topper perfectly suited to the bride and groom’s personalities!
The wedding cake was displayed on the sweets table. You might notice that the detailing on the middle tier mimics the bride’s gown. Details! Details!
The bride’s “something blue”
Ginny & Thomas opted to do a couples Rock the Dress session after their wedding at their favorite beach spot where they often walked together when they first met. This was really special as it made them realize that their love and new life together had come full circle. Their favorite part was taking the plunge into the ocean!
Thank you, Thomas & Ginny for allowing Adair and I to make your dreams come true!
