Introducing, Mr. & Mrs. Sam Thomas!
I would have to say that a good majority of the Dairing Brides are also, Destination Brides. When I first met with Lena, she was on her lunch break in New York and I could barely hear her with all the hustle and bustle around her in the City. I learned that while in St. Augustine on her latest trip she had talked with my favorite, Jill Stonier – and Jill told her that she should call me J
I assisted Lena with little details leading up to the wedding, she really had a great plan! Like many Destination Brides – we met over Skype {which is a fabulous invention} and that is actually how I met Sam for the first time, too! Texting, emailing, and of course Skyping – Lena and I worked for many months making sure the vision she had for her wedding would come true!
And, man -oh- man did it! Sam and Lena’s Wedding Day was one right out of an Indian Wedding Fairytale! All of her female guests were dressed in the most colorful and elaborate Sarees! I even joked with Lena that I should have worn one! Later in the evening, Lena surprised Sam by changing into a Saree herself – She says, “he loves it when I wear one”.
Thank you Lena and Sam for allowing me to be a part of your Special Day! And a huge thank you to all the vendors that made it just that!

Sam is allergic to eggs, so finding a cake was a little difficult for Lena at first. When we initially met she told me of this hurdle and I told her about an amazing cake baker that I had just met! Marisa with Sweet ‘n’ Flour specializes in Gluten Free, Vegan, Organic, and now, Egg-Free cake! Sam got to have his cake & eat it too! For those who are skeptical, the cake was one of the best I have ever tasted, you don’t even miss the egg!
