Morgan and Rick were High School Sweethearts, meeting at my own Alma Mater Allan D. Nease High School. My first meeting with Morgan and her mom was so fun! It was actually on a Saturday {which I normally don’t do} and the only reason it worked was I was setting up for another wedding at her Wedding Venue – Nocatee Crosswater Hall! It was great because we were able to “kill two birds with one stone” if you will! She got to see the venue set up {in person} for a wedding and I was able to oversee the vendor/rental arrivals earlier in the day!
The idea Morgan had for her day was just simple, elegant, but with a touch of glamour. We created a unique layout, utilizing both rounds and feasting tables. Putting the dance floor in the center really created the perfect party atmosphere for their reception, allowing all their guests ~ no matter where they were seating ~ to see all the action!
There were a couple of details that I just LOVED – the glitter backed table numbers, which gave that pop of glamour, and the guest favors! Morgan’s family are true Greeks and the week before the wedding her Grandmother dutifully baked enough treats to fill all the bags with at least three traditional greek cookies! {they were seriously the best cookies I’ve ever tasted!!}
Congratulations you two ~ I hope the future holds many more magical memories for you to share!
